Commentary: Congress must protect access to home health care

Tens of millions of seniors and people with disabilities in South Carolina and nationwide rely on in-home services to meet their critical health care needs.

Home is by far their preferred health care setting, with 91% of older Americans reporting they would prefer to receive post-hospital care at home as opposed to a short-term nursing facility or other institutional setting.
