CMS Wants To Expand Value-Based Pay For Home Health

CMS on Monday (June 28) proposed a 2022 home health pay rule that aims to expand a value-based purchasing model piloted in nine states to the rest of the country and also continue a 4.36% cut while seeking input on how CMS analyzed the behavioral assumptions about providers that factor into home health pay for next year.

The Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare applauded the value-based purchasing expansion but said they’re concerned about the continuation of the 4.36% cut.
