CMS proposes -1.7 percent Medicare home health payment decrease for 2025

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is proposing a decrease in Medicare payments in the aggregate for home health agencies by 1.7%, or $280 million, for calendar year 2025, the agency disclosed Wednesday afternoon. The proposed rate includes a permanent prospective adjustment of -4.067% to the home health payment rate related to the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM).
