CMS gives home health agencies overall 0.5 percent payment increase in 2025

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ finalized home health prospective payment rule for 2025 includes a 0.5% aggregate increase, or $85 million, for Medicare home health reimbursement next year, the agency revealed late Friday. The final rule represents an improvement from the 1.7% aggregate decrease, or -$280 million, that CMS proposed in June.
