Home Health Lobby Slams Proposed 2025 Home Health Pay Rule

The home health lobby called on Congress to immediately step in to “put an end to this dismantling of the Medicare home health benefit” shortly after the CMS proposed Wednesday (June 26) a 1.7% cut to the sector for 2025 — the third consecutive year the agency proposed cuts to the industry. Sens. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and Susan Collins (R-ME), along with Reps. Terri Sewell (D-AL) and Adrian Smith (R-NE), have already introduced legislation that would eliminate home health rate cuts.
